» Miners' Days
Miners' Days is an annual event in Nederland, offering competitions in skills of the old mining days, with fierce contests of skill and strength in Spike Driving, Bow Sawing, Mucking, Single and Double Jack, and Individual and Team Jack Leg. During the displays of human strength, vendors will be selling food, and crafts. Special childrens' activities make this an event for all ages. Throughout the weekend, the Mining Museum will be open for education, fun, and excitement.
Added to the schedule last year! Junior Division for 15 - 18 year olds in spike driving, mucking and bow sawing.
On Sunday there will be a log splitting competition. Winner keeps the wood!
