The Nederland Area Historical Society is a volunteer-only organization comprised of people who believe Nederland's past is directly responsible for its spirit today. With its history deeply rooted in mining, members of the Society are committed to ensuring that the community keeps those memories alive and shares the experiences of those who came before them.

There are currently about 50 members involved in the Nederland Area Historical Society. Members receive regular updates on projects, store discounts and more.
