The oldest house in Nederland and Boulder County, the Bryant House was saved from demoliton and now needs to be restored and put to use.

Donate Time or Money

The Nederland Area Historical Society and it projects are funded through memberships, individual donations and public and private grants. The Society is a federal tax (501c3) organization whose volunteers is its lifeblood. We would appreciate your involvement in any capacity.

Planned Giving
Whether supported through an outright gift or planned gift, all Nederland Area Historical Society programs are made possible through the generosity and commitment of people like you. A planned gift to the Nederland Area Historical Society helps to ensure the preservation of the story of mining in our community. Planned giving inlcudes:

• Charitable Gift - Annuities and Charitiable Remainder Trust Through a charitable remainder trust of a charitable gift annuity, if you irrevocably transfer some assets to the Nederland Area Historical Society, in return, you (and a survivor if you wish) receive income for life.
• Bequest and Wills - Many of our supporters make charitable gifts by naming the Nederland Area Historical Society as a beneficiary in their wills.
• Gift of Life Insurance - Some of our supporters who no longer need their life insurance that was purchased years ago to provide for children or other family members donate the policy to the Nederland Area Historical Society.
• Pooled Income Fund - Your gift of money, marketable securities, or both is invested together with similar gifts from other supporters.
• Charitable Lead Trust - Individuals with very large estates can use a charitable lead trust to benefit the Nederland Area Historical Society and pass principal to family members with little or no tax penalty.
• Gifts of Retirement Plans - Your IRA assets will be transferred to a charitable remainder trust, and the trust will provide life income to the beneficiary, and then an eventual gift to the Nederland Area Historical Society. Other Material and Services Donatations

The organization also accepts mining artifacts, equipment, cars, or other items. The value of the item is tax deductible.
